Clean Up Australia is on again this year.
Sunday March 5 th from 10am to 12 noon.
Register at the rotunda on The Esplanade.
Advisable to work in pairs as there is a bag for recyclables and a bag for landfill.
Gloves will be provided.
Suggest long sleeves and pants if working on foreshore areas and normal sun protection.
If you have access to a “pick-up-stick” or “handy reacher” they will be very useful if working in bushy or heavy undergrowth areas.
Although we concentrate on the foreshore areas, you are welcome to suggest other areas.

The streets along Liberty Cres might need some attention due to the builder's debris; O'Connor Rd and Argent Rd are good ones to work on for those able to. It is traditionally the day that the sea spurge is checked and pulled O'Connor to Norsemen Rd. If anyone is interested, please let me know. vro.agriculture.vic.gov.au/dpi/vro/vrosite.nsf/pages/sip_salt_sea_spurge
Bass Coast Shire Council informs residents that until mid-March, your household may receive a call from an independent market research agency, National Field Services.
National Field Services have been commissioned to conduct a community satisfaction survey on behalf of Council. Similar surveys are being undertaken for councils across Victoria.
The survey has been designed to assess the performance of Bass Coast Shire Council across a range of measures to identify ways to provide improvement or more effective service delivery to residents.
We appreciate you taking the time to assist us with your valuable feedback.
Please be assured that your details and individual responses are confidential. Only the overall results are shared with Bass Coast Shire Council.
